Q. What is Software as a Service (SaaS)?
A. SaaS is a revolution that's changing the face of traditional software. Web-native software delivered over the internet, SaaS provides customers new ways to utilise software. It removes many of the usual annoyances of traditional software including upfront investment costs, installation hassles, ongoing support costs and updates. With IcebergHQ, SaaS allows us to deliver the latest version of our software in a cost effective manner for both you and us.
Q. Why use IcebergHQ when I could just use Outlook?
A. We think IcebergHQ offers a number of features that go beyond Outlook. The biggest one is the ability of teams to share the contacts and file notes (there is no I in Team). On top of that, you can access IcebergHQ from anywhere, assign tags, send SMS's, and you don't have to worry about data backups - we do them for you.
Q. Is it possible to sync between Outlook and IcebergHQ?
A. At this time no. IcebergHQ is aimed at teams, so sharing your grandmother's phone number with the team isn't a high priority for us. That said, we have an awesome Inbox Assistant function that allows you to automatically file and collate important emails.
Q. Can I get access from my phone?
A. If you are using an iPhone or Android based phone you can access a mobile optimised version of IcebergHQ. Perfect for looking up contacts while on the go.
Q. Do I need to install any software?
A. Not at all. IcebergHQ is delivered through a browser, so there is nothing to install, no backups for you to worry about, and it's available from anywhere.
Q. Will IcebergHQ work on an iPad?
A. Absolutely. We've spent a lot of time making sure that IcebergHQ is an awesome experience on the iPad.
Q. What about the unicorns?
A. Even though IcebergHQ feels like magic, no unicorns were hurt in the making of IcebergHQ.
Q. Is IcebergHQ secure?
A. Yes. We take the security and protection of your data very seriously. We run and manage our own infrastructure to allow us to manage every step in the delivery and maintenance of IcebergHQ.
Q. What are the System Requirements?
A. IcebergHQ is delivered via the Internet, so you need an internet connection and a modern browser (we suggest Chrome 10+, Safari 5+, Firefox 4+, IE 8+). You can also access IcebergHQ from an iPad, iPhone and Android based phones.
Q. Do we own our data?
A. You retain all rights to your data. We don't look at it, we don't use it, we don't sell it. In fact, each customer has their own discreet database. See our privacy statement for more details.
Q. How secure is our data?
A. The security of your data is of utmost importance to us. We maintain discreet databases for each of our clients. Q. How do we buy IcebergHQ?
A. IcebergHQ is offered as a flexible and convenient subscription service. We charge a single monthly fee, allow you to change plans as your business requirements change. There is no large upfront investment and no lock-in contracts.
Q. What about new versions?
A. You automatically receive upgrades as they become available. Typically this process is completely seamless. You'll never need to worry about compatability or falling behind, you'll always have access to the latest and greatest.
Q. Can I pay yearly?
A. If you are an Enterprise that requires a yearly plan, please get in contact so that we can organise this for you.
Q. Can I download it and run it off my own server?
A. Not at this time. IcebergHQ is only offered as a hosted service.
Q. Why do I need to sign-up using PayPal?
A. PayPal is a safe and convenient platform for you to manage your billing and subscription information. It also gives you flexibility around how you pay your PayPal subscription.
Q. Why do I need to sign-up to PayPal for the 30 Free Trial?
A. So that we can effectively manage your subscription, we need you to sign up through PayPal. In the first 30 days you are free to cancel your account with no further obligations for payment.
